Kasen is an apparition who was raised in slum district of the city Evenrise, by crime matriarch Chantel. Tired of seeing endless suffering around him he revolts and joins the Appariton operative force Legion vowing to put an end to her syndicate.
A dramatic betrayal involving his friends leaves the apparition world in ruin and them missing. Quested with finding those responsible, he travels to human world, discovering far worse threats than bitter resentment and learning more about himself than he ever knew.
