When faced with a life-changing event that ruins the only person you're close with's life, what do you do? Do you try to help them adjust? Do you distance yourself from them? Or do you take it upon yourself to find a way to make their life normal again?
Ashley Everard loves her sister so much, that she takes it upon herself to find a way to help her sister who loses her ability to walk. This world isn't that of our own however. Though limited and slowly dying out, magic is still a prevalent feature among the kingdom of Slocia as well as around the world. With the plan of finding a cure for her sister, Ashley enters a strange custom within the Slocia kingdom where anyone who is of age and is the heir's gender preference, may enter what has come to be known as The Princess Games. A competition in which the heir to the kingdom may marry whoever proves themselves worthy of ruling beside them, as well as whom the heir decides they want to rule beside. Will she be able to help her sister? or will her efforts be for nothing?
