The strong stench of whiskey filled up the room. He was drunk.
"So these are my options sweetheart," he took a swig from the bottle.
He slowly stood up from the floor. Your body tensed up, waiting for metal to fly by and hit you.
"One! I am currently pissed and drunk out of my fucking mind." He took a step toward you. Truth.
"Two! I am no longer interested in getting back my data from that arrogant, and cocky bitch. As long as she still keels over." You chuckled dryly at that. Lie. He hated Miranda more than anything and anything to make her life more difficult always made his day.
He kept going toward you until he was directly in front of you and you could smell the alcohol from his lips. On instinct you took a step back. So he took another step forward until your back pressed against the wall.
He took one last swing before dropping the bottle and letting it empty whatever was left inside on the floor.
"Three," he breathed out, "I love you sweets."
"You fucking liar."
