His only friends live thousands of miles away, and have no idea about his abilities. They just think he's a normal post-teen. Not even Tommy's adoptive family knows about it. That's not something that's hard to keep from people, right? That's what Tommy figured, but when animals keep approaching him when he's out with his friends, they start to wonder why.
