Project Rebirth: the chance for Allied forces to create an army of super soldiers to fight against the axis powers. Originally only men had been considered for the programme, but when one young, headstrong woman takes it upon herself to convince her employer that women would take the project to the next level, she never expected that she would be the number one candidate.
Eleanor 'Nellie' Barnes, the greatest female mind the 20th Century has seen to date, is thrown into a world that she never thought she would be a part of. In such a short space of time she is forced to battle with the prejudice and jealousy of men who long for her job, the stress of working for a top-secret military programme whilst also taking on the risk of being the test subject, and then letting love get in the way as her best friend and love of her life is chosen to be a candidate as well.
Despite all this, Nellie must push all her personal feelings aside when she is transformed and enhanced and has to focus on the new mission at hand: destroying HYDRA.
