Avery Williams is an Agent of S.H.I.E.L.D..
After her adoptive parents died suddenly when she was only three, she discovered that they were both Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. who had died in action.

Shortly after they passed, S.H.I.E.L.D. took her in and raised her. This was because whoever killed her adoptive parents was after Avery too. It was too dangerous for her to be out in the world without protection, so Avery grew up in S.H.I.E.L.D.. Soon, she had people like Phil Coulson and Nick Fury promising to protect her at all costs because she had become special to them.

After years of preparation, Avery became an off the books agent of S.H.I.E.L.D. when she turned 18. This meant that she would go on missions and use her expertise, but she was never noted down in any files or documents. She was practically a ghost story. To the outside world, Avery Williams didn't exist.

Although she wasn't a level 7 agent, she knew that Coulson was alive after the battle of New York. Fury thought Coulson's death affected her more than anyone, so he told her. He always had a soft spot for the girl.

So when he asked her to join the team that Coulson was forming, of course she said yes.

But she didn't know what she signed up for.

Through battles with the enemies and following a trail for an old alien relic, along the way she meets Theo Black: a One Direction and Taylor Swift enthusiast, who matches her energy, and keeps her on her toes.

How will Avery cope with all the reoccurring battles and the undying tension between her and her supposed friend?

Theo shrugged. "I don't know, but I'm pretty sure I heard: "Theo, I would love to be your date. I love you so much"."

She scoffed. "You must need your ears checked then."
