Mature
Almost two years have passed since the Chitauri attack on New York City and Nellie and Steve are still adapting to their new, modern lives together. Now living in Washington DC, and working as high level agents of Shield, their time is spent either catching up on the developments of the world, or being sent out on missions to handle the tasks that regular agents are not a match for.

When Director Fury calls upon the couple to complete what seems to be their usual intercept and rescue mission, Nellie and Steve unknowingly step in a fight that they were in no way prepared for. Their involvement triggers an avalanche of events that unveil their old enemy and the survival of Nellie's older brother.

Together they must try and take down their old enemy, along with facing demons they never knew they had. The risk of losing almost everything is at an all time high and when push comes to shove... they just might.

Who said you could always trust your family?
