Snow falls on to the windowsill, hugging on to it like a cold blanket. The sky is grey with no promise of sun in the morning, yet Lena knew it would still rise. An alarm clock read 11:58pm, it's ticking and Lena's breath being the only sounds through out the room. Lena rose from her spot on the other side of the cold glass and wondered over to the mirror, waiting for her mark to appear. 

Soulmates, the one person you are destined to be with for the rest of your life. Lena thought this was a stupid idea. She couldn't wrap her head around the fact someone was made specifically for her. Was it not her decision to decide who she loves? Her friend had gotten his mark last week on his 18th birthday. She couldn't understand why he was so excited to see it, why he was so excited to find the person he's fated to be with. 


This book is a mix between 'the galaxy is endless' and 'in another life' with a few twists ❤️
