Rayna, daughter of a healer, has lived all her life in a small village. Though she isn't conventionally well off, she loves her life, spending her days painting the scenes of the forest life and helping her mother heal the people in the village. But her life changes when a letter arrives to her mother, followed by a visit by a mysterious stranger and is suddenly thrust into the world of Wolves. With only bleak knowledge of their ruthlessness, she has to learn to adapt to survive amongst them.

Lycan, crown prince of one of the most prosperous Wolf kingdoms, is also the alpha to his pack. Burdened with the fire of revenge-seeking because of a tragedy that took place years ago, he must learn to balance his vengeful feelings with his duty as the heir of his kingdom and leader of his pack. But things only get more complicated when he brings a human to the kingdom, a human for whom he has strange and impossible feelings.

As the two come together, there is an inevitable war looming on. One of the greatest Wolf-kind has ever experienced. Will they conquer it or will it destroy them all?
