"Happy?" "I am the furthest thing from happy when I'm in a room with you." ~~~~~~ At the start of the 2022 Formula One season, defending World Champion, Max Verstappen, is ready to fight once again for the title. At the first sign of weakness, nineteen other drivers stand ready to pounce and seize victory for themselves. For Max, with his place in racing history on the line, failure is not an option. Since the introduction of the hit reality Netflix show, Drive to Survive, the drivers have had to perform on the world's largest stage, with millions of critical eyes watching on. This year, to ensure the continuation of record-breaking ratings, Netflix have struck a deal with each Formula 1 team. A dedicated buddy is to be assigned to each driver with the aim of securing exclusive behind-the-scenes content. As someone with a PR problem and an anti-media reputation, Max is informed by the Red Bull senior management that this arrangement is absolutely mandatory. The one positive? He gets to choose the buddy.
