    I think I should've thought this line through before going on one.

    All Alex wanted was to get over these unknown feelings for her friend. So when her best friend suggested a blind date she was all in to do something she never did before. 
    
    What seemed like a casual date somehow ends up with Alex stuck in another world. Far away from home; left in what seems like an alternate reality, Alex finds herself fighting to find her way back home. 
    
    Zac has learned to fight off these so-called creatures all his life and kept himself safe in a world that he calls home.
