I've been very depressed and heartbroken so, what better than to create a story out of it? "This is my life" details a protagonist going through her teenage years up until the age of 21. Through love, friendship, grief, and heartbreak, you will get to witness what it's like being a young black girl trying to conquer the world. I hope anyone going through either heartbreak, grief, insecurities, mental health declines are able to read this and know that they're not alone! But being stuck in a home with parents that want the very best from her is making it very hard for her to come out. She finds herself confiding in her best friend Jace. Jace is a closeted gay male who is hiding himself from his heavily strict parents who don't believe that people are born gay. Rayne is a biromantic asexual who is happily open with her friends but at home shes quiet and scared of who she is, a child of divorce she constantly blames herself for her parents divorcing when she was 10. Kyle is the cool skater boy of the group and always seems to be happy and well composed but when hes alone he's confused and scared about his own sexuality along with his past.Complete
