This is the backstory of my Dungeons and Dragons: Dochor. I've always wanted to play D&D. Before I even started playing, I already created my character, like way before. I always knew I wanted to play as a Dragonborn (They are just so cool okay). I will not say anything about the class (sorry, you'll read it in the story) This backstory has been in my head for a long time now, and thought why not write it down and share it. Others will have huge monstrous frames giving you the sense of helplessness and futility standing in its shadow. Others are more formless and unknown, sowing doubt and untruths like a farmer harvesting lies. Erik, sadly, finds himself in a position where he can only wish for such a feeling. Be it fear, love, joy or anger. And where Erik searches for something he has lost, Sarah searches for something she has always had, but is somehow difficult to reach. And as Sarah tries to leave her fears behind her a little four-legged creature is introduced to the concept of fear for the very first time.

The result of me and a couple of my friends playing Dungeons and Dragons. After a while, we just decided to make it into a story. I wrote basically all of it, and my friends made requests. Most of the time I tried to keep it to one linear story. I planned for a couple plot twist that never actually happened as I went on. Meep, my first story submitted to here. It also happens to rip off a lot of things from other stories. If you can notice them, you are the most epic person ever and you deserve ice cream.

The Path of the Adventurer by MetalGearTom

Here is an epic fantasy story set in my D&D world that I wrote not only for fans of RPGs and fantasy in general, but for all my friends. This story about my character Erion, a young elven warrior; and his many allies and enemies in the kingdom of Briarbeth. In this vast story, you'll meet daring heroes, joy-bringing mages, ruthless orcs and more. This novel has a multitude of inspirations and influences, chief among them being Dungeons and Dragons, The Lord of the Rings & The Hobbit, and The Legend of Zelda. I even take cues from anime such as Little Witch Academia, and favorite video games like Super Mario 64, The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, and various JRPGs like Chrono Trigger. Look closely, and you may find subtle references to some of the aforementioned franchises at different points in the book :) Just a little warning: The story, especially the first couple of chapters, starts off with a several common fantasy tropes and clichés at first glance (e.g. elves and orcs, an old wizard with a pointy hat and a grey beard, taking treasure from dragon etc.), but it will grow into something a bit more unique as the story progresses. Please forgive my usage of Tolkienesque tropes, as I came up with the concept of the series when I was only fourteen (At the time I was making it in the style of old school fantasy, so what can you expect :p). Even I, as the creator will say it is cliched or stereotypical in some aspects. I only refuse to change them due to spending a lot of time with them during my high school years (And tbh i love elves/dwarves/orcs fantasy). With that aside, I hope that you will love my fantasy universe full of adventure and lore. Now sit back, relax, and embrace yourself for a magical adventure with Erion and his friends! Listened to Twilight Force, Stratovarius, Sonata Arctica, Power Quest, and various other power metal bands while I was writing this :) (Character drawings found at the end of the story)

This is a story I've had written out for awhile. Just finally had the chance to publish it! Hello.. I'm the most feared creature.. Being in the ocean.. I'm half human.. Half fish.. A mermaid.. But a dark one.. Who has full control over The Kraken.. Do I attack ships? Sometimes. Ever fallen in love? No.. My heart was broken.. I thought Love was impossible for me.. Till that one day.. I couldn't help my feelings.. Even though my boss had the same feelings for him.. But what made it hard.. I was a hunted creature.. Could I have a shot at the near impossible?.. Could my heart be fixed?..
