Maximillion Pegasus had a daughter Via, he doesn't really let her leave his side. Because he is paranoid of her getting hurt but when she starts to get more and more curious about the outside world and a certain group of friends. She realizes she wants to leave her fathers side and explore more of the world.
Via isn't the type of person to play duel Monsters. But, she is very skilled at it obviously as her father invented the CARD game. She likes to be around and watch the game more than play, but she will play if it is needed. She is very familiar with Millennium items because her father made her study the Egyptian artifacts and such when she was young. But she isn't all that interested in them until she realized how much the Millennium eye has changed her father which is a reason why she becomes curious in what is behind the doors to outside, because she wants to save her father. to be the father she remembers when she was young.
