A young warrior born of greatness, with a great destiny, seeked by a great king, orphaned by war, lover of his people, captain of his comrades and a bloody avenger. Nothing will stop him and his group from completing their quest. Nothing, not even death itself.
You might be wondering who this is, ERAGON that's me. My motherland Artex lived in peace and harmony all through the reign of king Michel. King Michel is a great king who will do anything to please his people (the people of Artex). All the kings of the neighbouring kingdoms loved and honoured him until king Shag arose. He conquered some kingdoms in the Northern, Western and Eastern regions and also some few ones in the south., but he could not breach the walls of Artex . He besieged Artex for seven years not allowing anyone to go out or come in. The once great Kingdom begin to wallow in poverty and sickness. King Michel took ill, and Shag seized the opportunity to launch a heavy attack on the Kingdom. He took the King's castle and killed all the royal bloods including King Michel himself. He made Artex the Capital of his Empire and therefore forced the people to serve him.
Years later, it was prophesied that twelve warriors would be born to lift up the yoke off the neck of the Artexians. They would be born the same day with a strange mark on their hand.
That's what I was told by my father, and this is our story, a story of honour, adventure, glory and a bloody quest. Centuries later, our names will live on the lips of everyone. Our stories will be told in poems and in dramas. We may die, but our names will live forever
