PRIDE is the 5v5 video game that quickly evolved into the world's sport. When Clarke Murdoch left the Mafia's Naples casinos to become a third-string midlaner for their PRIDE organisation, 'The Port', he didn't imagine he would be stepping onto the professional stage on his first day. For society's liesure, Clarke is asked to bare his all in order to beat worldwide idols in a game where skill, intelligence, temperament and ideals all decide the victor.
Torn between his love for the game but hatred of the sport, Clarke risks exposing a side of himself he was always warned to hide. Every game played at the highest level draws a dangerous shadow to the surface, posing as much threat to himself as his opponents.
Chasing the competition, The Port's members set off with individual goals that ultimately align with victory. Standing in their way are upstarts, journeymen, veterans, champions and idols. Their legacy, should they succeed, will be legendary.

#11 IN ACTION (PARIS) Buried deep below the everyday life of our society lives a world of nightmares-of violence and murder no one dares speak about. It is called the Sinner's Society. In the murky waters of Chicago's underworld I'm arranged to marry Alexander Grayson. A Made Man, a boss, a cheat-even measured against mafia standards. His reputation stretches far and wide and is darker than his black suits and ties. He is the man who rules Sinner's Society. He is my half brother. Oh yes, he is. A man I've grown up loving and admiring. A man with unexplained wealth, tattoos on his hands, and secrets in his pale blue eyes. I'm raised to be a romantic at heart, living in the most unromantic of worlds. I'm taught to be docile, to smile on cue and to have a charming response for everything. I'm the favored son, they say, the perfect mafia prince. . . or am I? Now, all I can see in the mirror's reflection is blood staining my hands like crimson paint. I was supposed to be perfect wife, the perfect lover but I don't know when did I became the perfect killer. He had to go and kill the one person I loved the most. I don't know what did he expect from me? To still love him unconditionally? My husband is as brilliant as he is beautiful, and twice as deadly. His chaotic world is now the prison I'm forced to call home. A place where nightmares and reality are indistinguishable. (ALEX) My little half-brother or Wife is going to pour gasoline on our Paradise and burn it to the ground. The glib, heartbreakingly beautiful monster will torment me into lighting the first match. He knows all of my secrets, but he's forgetting that I know his too. If we burn, we burn together. Can Paris trust a heartless, manipulative sociopath? Can a man who doesn't feel fall in love?

Nia: He's a broken soul with a dark past. He's a fearful man who sees nothing but red in the world. I want to hug him. I want to, dare I say, love him. But will he let me? Apollo: She's a ray of sunshine that burns my eyes with every smile. A flower with poison hidden beneath her petals. I want to break her and uncover her hidden dark desires. There's something about her and I can't let go even though I know I should. A world like mines isn't a place for her delicate soul and I fucking hate that. ~~ "Submit to me." He repeats, harder this time as he steps closer to me. "I am not some puppy you can command to do as you say. Who in the fuck do you think i am? Kali?" His frown deepens at my tone and in a second his cold rough hands are wrapped around my neck. I whimper at the sudden move and my body goes tense when he squeezes. "Apo-" "I said to fucking submit! Do you need me to force you to?" He growls in my face. His scent suffocates me more than his hands are and I remain silent, fearing that I will say the wrong thing that'll end in me buried six feet under. "What? Cat got your tongue?" He taunts with an evil smirk on his face. He's trying to scare me into submission. I refuse. If me dying saves my dignity then so be it but I will not let this evil man think he can control me. "I am not yours to submit to, Apollo," I say as loud as can with his hands still choking me. "I am not your pet. If you want to hurt me, then hurt me but I refuse to be the woman to fall at your every command. You tried that once, remember? And where did that get me? In the hands of your enemy. I fucking. Refuse." I used all of my strength to shove him away from me with heavy force. Needs To Be Heavily Edited
