When Lady Naomi Faye Kathleen the fourth daughter of the Archduke and Archduchess Kathleen receives a letter from the king himself requesting her to attend the year's season ball to compete for the prince's hand, she becomes devastated as she feels the "monarchy system does not allow her the privilege to choose". She is forced to go, after all, not a single soul in their right minds would dare defile the king's request.

As time goes on she finds out she has developed a soft spot for the charming prince Trenton Zachary and might be falling for him. Or has already fallen for him. And he might also harbour some affectionate feelings for her.
