After the Spencer Mansion incident, she helps Jill in her investigation to uncover the whereabouts of Umbrella's underground facility and their B.O.W projects.
But with her sister being suspended from the police force and their apartment under around the clock surveillance, that was easier said than done.
The two sisters become separated when an intelligent bioweapon creature destroys their apartment and hunts them down.
Fighting her way through Racoon City, she takes refuge at the police station where she encounters Leon Kennedy and the remaining police officers.
