Reid Stone is the second prince of Wyland. He has spent his whole life trudging around the castle with the ability to move and become shadows. The prophecy of becoming a king followed him around as well. With being constantly feared by his family, Reid has learned to become numb and invisible. He has no interest in his title or his surroundings until one strange woman with an even stranger past catches his eye.

Morgan Tilf has had one thing stuck to her name her whole life, and that was her fate. Not only was she born with a strange ability, she was also born with a destiny. She was to be a queen. It would seem normal enough except that she had no right to any throne, she had no idea which kingdom she would rule and had no idea how she would obtain a throne.

People had their own guesses- murder, marriage, lost princess. All was unknown, even to the creature who revealed the prophecy.

After hiding on away for 8 years Morgan reluctantly returns home to fulfill the destiny that has been haunting her her entire life. With her best friend, a curious prince, a lovestruck duke and her shifter by her side Morgan must go through the trials of claiming her unknown home all while putting new meanings to the words trust, love and, fate.
