Laurene doesn't know what to do. One day she is deciding what classes she needs to take for her degree and the next she is deciding if she needs to run or hide. On the way home from a group project she gets kidnapped in the library parking lot, the next thing she knew she was trapped in a cement room being tortured every hour. She could never remember what they did to her just the pain that they left behind every time that the door shut. Until Logan comes to save her, or at least that is what Laurene hopes. Laurene is willing to do anything to anything to not go back to that place even if it means learning that werewolves and vampires exist, but not in the way that she thought that they would.
