Suddenly, I feel a burning sensation in my chest. I breathe in deeply before I continue playing, trying to shrug it off.

The pain grows and grows throughout the hours, and the sun starts to peek over the city, letting in a sliver of bright light through the living room window. 

The screen glitches slightly, and I begin to panic. What's going on?

The glitches build up to an alarming uncontrollable rate, and night seeps in through the kingdom, no glow from the moon in sight. 

The pain in my heart increases.

Before I know it, the screen glitches out, and I go with it into dark, deep nothingness.

"Blaze?" He says and I hate it. I hate how he says my name as if it's his. Like he knows it's the only thing I want to hear, him calling out to me, looking at me, focused to me. It's the first time in my life I wanted someone's attention so badly I didn't care how I got it. And that was too dangerous for me to hold onto. "Are you insane or some shit? I could have killed you!" He says and starts to walk towards me. I take a big breath and step back away from him, "s-stop! Axel," I stutter still panting. It's then he notices the blood on my hands and shirt. "Is that blood?" He asks staring at my shirt and I take another step back. "Stop, stay b-back," I try to say confidently but I can't even breath right. Realizing he won't listen I start to turn around planning to make a break for it. "Don't run from me Blaze it won't go well," he growls reading my thoughts causing me to freeze in my spot. "Do not ever think you can get away from me."

I felt someone staring hard at me, I started looking around the crowd and everyone is staring at me, but this is different. I saw Ayden and his group of friends but then I saw a girl that wasn't there earlier. We made eyes contact she is beautiful.....my wolf says, "Mate!" I was excited......I finally found my mate. I smiled at her, and she was about to smile when she gave me a dirty look then turned away and started kissing Joshua. I couldn't believe it I know she saw me but she acting like we didn't make eye contact. "Get me out of here now!" I said in our mind link. When we find our mate it is not the scent that we recognized, it is when we make eye contact then everything starts shifting towards us. Meaning, that I can feel her, as she can feel me.....I can smell her, and her scent is drowning me and it is driving my wolf crazy. Night Dantas wakes up in her apartment in London completely confused, terrified of sunlight and all the things that she used to love in the city. Before that she only remembered she was drunk in a pub and a voice of a man that promised her she would feel again and she would meet her tears she could never cry... Since then she can't face the sun, the artificial sounds and the combination of smells of the city got her disturbed, but she also felt capable of things she never could. Trying to run away from pain, Night went back to her roots in Portugal, to find out some peace. One year after Night came back to the portuguese village of Gondar, she keeps doomed to an existence of moonlight and a silent sadness where the woods are her night home. She only feels comfort there but she isn't the only sinister creature rounding the woods. With the help of her best friend Lili and José, the man madly in love with her, she will face her demons and will learn she can be loved even if she only has the night to offer. A first part of a romance with some science fiction in between (second part will start soon to be written). Hope you enjoy this story! :) (P.S.: This first part is finished and totally edited. He once told me no one knows the real him.I didn't think he meant it, and not in a good way. He is a straight A student, and everyone knows it, not to mention he is on the swim team. All that though isn't the real him, the real him hides deep within himself. ---------- "Can you please tell me what that was?" I nearly shout at him. All I get is silence. He keeps his back to me. "Please, I need some explanation." I beg. I stay still as he stops dead in his tracks. His body is tense and it's scarring me. He turns around slowly to face me with his hands at his sides. His eyes meet mine, but there is no spark of any emotion in them. They are cold and dark making me look away not being able to hold his deadly stare. I feel uneasy under his gaze, and i feel his eyes burning a hole in the side of my face. "No, I won't explain because it's not important." He says in a low, almost, growl. I flinch and look back into his eyes. I feel hurt by his words and I don't know why, but I know he sees it in my eyes. His faces flashes with regret but it's quickly covered up with his faces going back to it's hard cold look. I feel my heart stop and my face go pale. His look terrified me making me hold my breath. "Breath." He orders. I start to breathe again and just blink at him. "Now go." He orders me again. I flinch involuntarily at his tone and jump back slightly. "Please don't let me walk home alone." I beg in a quiet voice, looking down at my feet. The next thing I see are his black combat boots right in front of my shoes. I look up into his eyes and he looks down into mine confusion written all over his face. "How come you aren't running yet?" He questions searching my eyes. "I just can't walk home alone, please I'm scared." I hear him chuckle. "You aren't afraid of me? What can possibly be scarier than me?" He asks. "Well, I know you will keep me safe." "Why is that?" He questions raising an eyebrow at me. "You haven't hurt me." "Yet." He mutters, but I roll my eyes.
