Imperium

"Empires are built off the opression of the masses and the crack of whip. we must fight their tyranny with all our strength!"

milenia listened to those words eagerly. her mother had been one of the fore front advocates for political and societal change within the empire before she was jailed for treason. now she listened to the words of another figure, the Noble Alina whose family had been killed for speaking out against the empire. She wished to change the empire as well, but little did she know of how far she would go before the truth was finally brought before her eyes.

"The Imperium has been a bastion of order and peace for centuries. It was through the iron and blood of conquest that we have created this great power in the world. Now we must protect it at all costs!"

Amadeus stood at attention as he heard the words come from the great general Rocka, leader of the northern armies and the one he owed his life to. He would be willing to do anything to ensure the protection of the imperium as well as Rocka, no matter how dark of a path he must walk.

The imperium had stood for centuries as the greatest power the world had ever known. It has suffered little defeat in his history but currently it is going through a great political struggle between those who call for change, and those that wish to keep the Imperium as it always had been. Enemies both inside and out now seek to usurp it and our two heroes are now caught in the middle. Going down different paths they will endure greatly in order to see the Imperium be made into what they believe to be greatness.
