"She's just the babysitter, she won't suspect a thing!"

This story is based on an AU created by a friend and me. This AU takes place in a modernized Scream AU based solely on the 1996 Scream film. This AU and story is just for fun and will include OCs.

A young woman works as a babysitter in her last year of high school. She's an introverted young woman; who despite a love for horror films, is rightfully spooked by the deaths of her fellow classmates. This wasn't a scary movie, people were actually dying and it was terrifying.

A young boy by the name of Charlie Loomis was the girl's main charge. He was a lonely boy who lost contact with his mother, had an almost nonexistent relationship with his emotionally detached father who worked more than he stayed at home, and a mischievous older brother. He was often told while growing up that he looked a lot like his brother, though with how his brother had been acting recently, he was beginning to wonder if that was a good thing. His babysitter meant a lot to him, she was the closest thing to a mother and family he had.

As murders begin to occur, the young babysitter begins to spend the night at her main charges home, his father wanting the young boy to have an eye kept on him, even when he wasn't there.

What started out as a normal job, began to feel like a nightmare when the babysitter overhears what she shouldn't.
