David, the main character of this story goes on an adventure to find a mythical item "The Nemacron"  which he hopes will grant his wish, on an island in the middle of the Rolling Triangle ( Where the Pacific, Atlantic and Caribbean sea collide). On his journey he discovers and befriends creatures he one thought were nothing more than myths. All the while tackling issues of the various aspects of the island's society which runs parallel to the society where he comes from.
