What if before Dream's betrayal, there was a bit more to the story? What if the one who churned chaos was a demon that took the shape of his body? What if after all these years, Dream was never present?
5 years ago, Dream commenced a journey to explore a new cave system. The moment he stepped foot into the stony abyss was the day he never saw the light again... or not? Maybe a loud bickering teenager in exile fell through a hole and found a beautiful boy frozen in ice. Now, this is where their story began.
Quick note: I have never followed the DreamSMP story. However, I've read hundreds of angst dream fanfics, therefore, i wanted my own take on it. Not just the typical dream in prison one. I'm sorry if I get any of the story wrong, I just love cottagecore/soft dream. Enjoy the story!! :)

Dream and George enjoy a comfortable life as a couple in L'manburg; however, when the king orders them to his castle, their life gets thrown into chaos. The king separates the two of them before sending Dream on a quest to kill a traitor. On the way, the king discovers George is not all he seems. This gives the king greater interest in him, so he decides to keep George. Will Dream let him get away with his evil plans, or will he bring hell upon the kingdom? This story will mainly focus on DreamNotFound though it will have other ships. Tommy and tubbo grew up as brothers. Not all of the Dream SMP members will be present. Also, if any content creators state they are uncomfortable with fanfiction, I will take down the story. I did something similar to this for a German story I published like two years ago, so I figured, why not do it in English too? So here goes nothing! This will be a long one! Also, I already want to apologize for not writing the characters 'realistic' enough at some points. I mainly watch Philza and Techno, so everyone else is a bit... unknown to me? Like of course I watch Tommy Videos or Dream Manhunt and all that, but that's about it. (I guess?? Basically if Tommy never betrayed Technoblade. Basically inspired by a lot of stories similar to this. Anyway here's the actual description below ⬇️) Exile. One of the worst things that happened to Tommy and believe me, loads of bad things has happened to him. But being stuck in a single place, far away from his friends and family and with a blob that has taken two of his canon lives and who may have plans of his own, has to be up there in Tommy's list of Worse Things that Has Happened to Me. So he ran away. Whether he snuck into Technoblade's house was intentional or not is honestly up in the air to debate. But when it came to it, Tommy had two choices. To stay with his supposed elder brother who is not dead or go back to the people who turned their backs on him. He picked the first choice. Now Tommy has to live with the fact that he and Tubbo may not be able to repair their friendship and that the country that he helped build is basically f*cked! But that is not the end of the story.
