What if before Dream's betrayal, there was a bit more to the story? What if the one who churned chaos was a demon that took the shape of his body? What if after all these years, Dream was never present? 

5 years ago, Dream commenced a journey to explore a new cave system. The moment he stepped foot into the stony abyss was the day he never saw the light again... or not? Maybe a loud bickering teenager in exile fell through a hole and found a beautiful boy frozen in ice. Now, this is where their story began.

Quick note: I have never followed the DreamSMP story. However, I've read hundreds of angst dream fanfics, therefore, i wanted my own take on it. Not just the typical dream in prison one.
