An infant girl was found on the doorstep of Kaien Cross with nothing but a cherry-pink blanket and brief note with her.  The note held only the girl's name, Sakura. Left with no choice, Kaien Cross took the girl in and raised her as his own.  When Kaname, a pureblood vampire, and Yuki make their entrance into Sakura's life the truth is slowly unravelled in front of dear Sakura. Not all is as it seems and Cross Academy, the school that Kaien Cross has made, is planning on opening its doors in the near future to a new body of students. Vampires. Sakura finds out that her life is a confusing mystery, one that she wants to figure out.  Yet as time passes she realizes that the truth often isn't showered with rainbows and sunshine.
