There he was. Just standing there, staring at me. His blue eyes shining. A smirk across his face. His muscles showing through his flannel shirt. I probably looked like a dork. I couldn't help but stare at him back. I bet he knew I was checking him out. "Get out of this faze Nikkie." I thought to myself. Oh no, he is walking this way. I was trying to think of something to do when all of a sudden HE was standing right in front of me.
"You know I am not blind right?" This man said to me. "I can see you checking me out."
All I could do was smile.
"Whats your name?" He asked me.
"Nik." was all I managed to get out.
"Nik?" Well that is a strange name for a girl."
"I meant to say Nikkie." I laughed. "But my friends call me Key."
"I think I like Nik better." He said smiling. "Anyway, I am Teagan."
Oh my gosh he was perfect. It was like this country boy came walking out of my dreams. Like he was here to sweep me off my feet. I didn't want to get my hopes up though. He was probably just in town to look at some of our cattle. Just like a lot of guys do when they come here. Which really sucks because I really want to get to know this guy. He is so, so, so beautiful.
"Well, hi and bye, Teagan, I have to catch the bus to get to school." I told him walking past him.
"Well, I will be here when you get back." Teagan said.
"What?" I said confused while turning around.
"I'm your new ranch hand."
