I hate him. I hate everything about him, down to his unruly green hair that curls cutely by his temples to those bright green eyes that shimmer with vibrant life. What I hate most of all is the fact I'm in love with him, and that I can't deny it to myself.
I hate that I don't hate him at all.
Another thing...
I feel like fate is laughing in my face for making me this way. But honesty, for once I don't mind.

He smelled mildly of cinnamon. I don't know how, probably the hair gel, but it was pleasant. He fell asleep pretty much instantly, and I started to slowly stroke his hair. There was something peaceful about the way his chest went up and down with every soothing breath. He was so quiet. I moved my hand from his hair to cup his cheek. He had to ask if I hated him.
