In the forest behind the town of Briar Creek, many a tale has been told. Some claim there to be monsters among the trees, others claim the woods contain magic, but most chalk the theories up to gossip and rumor. Though science can't explain these ideas, there are plenty of first hand accounts, or claims of such, happening throughout the past 100 years or so of the town's long life time...

The citizens who lived nearby were shaken awake by the sounds and were left sleepless. It was said that five people volunteered to investigate the source of the racket. The sounds stopped an hour later but....the group were never seen again. Some believed that whatever was out there, got to the unfortunate people while some think the group is stuck in some place and they can't get out. Either way, no one really knows for sure what happened to them." This story soon became a rumor the following years to come. Older people would use this tale to scare off children wandering in the woods at night. Pranksters would sometimes report that they've heard the same strange sound described in the story; and this is why everyone starts to debate whether this narrative is fictional or real. A newcomer will soon uncover whether this tale told by the townsfolk is true or not as an unintentional instinct leads her to where it is. But will the truth ever be revealed?
