Ashton hasn't spoken since he was six years old. Many people have made useless attempts to make him speak, yet Ashton stayed silent. Not even the countless amounts of therapy could make him open his mouth. No one knows why he won't talk, not even his own mother. But when a very nosey boy named Luke, the son of his mothers best girl friend, moves into town, Luke promises Ashton that by the end of the year, he will talk again.
