Ash has just moved to Alton in with his uncle, Ethan Henley. Out of all his uncles and aunts, he has always liked Ethan so that won't be a huge problem. Problem is that his mum seems very insistent that he move to Europe with her, something which he doesn't find very appealing, as that means being away from everything he knows. Luckily, his twin brother, Bo, shares the same sentiment as him and joins Ash. Everything seems pretty boring in Alton at first and Ash wonders whether it was such a good idea to do the move...that is until he meets them.
After having seen one of his friends shape-shift into a wolf, Ash finds himself in the unknown and lands into situations that he has always imagined about, and his life intertwines to a life that he cannot escape. Soon, there are rumours spreading about an old power returning. Ash, Bo and their friends must find a way to destroy the Djinn before he can wreak havoc on humanity.
