Without a plan he just heads off in a random direction which leads him to the Sand Village where he meets Kat, the caring, fun, banana hating ninja who adopts him. Just when he thinks he might be able to live in peace the Hokage requests he return to the Leaf and after so negotiating the two villages have shared custody over him. Yuukina is friends with all three of the Kazekage's children, and she is one of the highest ranking Jounin in the Hidden Sand Village. She despises the Leaf Village and her family, until... Shikamaru finds out he has an older sister who lives in Sunagakure. Her name is Yuukina, and she was given to The Hidden Sand Village by the Fourth Hokage, when she had weird chakra as a child, and even Konoha's most elite medical shinobi and Lord Minato Namikaze himself could not set it right. Yuukina is coming back to Konoha to supervise the Chuunin Exams, and Shikamaru is anxious to see his sister for the first time. During the exams, Yuukina becomes close with the Leaf ninjas, as well as her family. But the question is, when the plan for the Sand and Sound ninjas to attack Konoha is carried out, will Yuukina and her teammates choose to protect Konoha...or destroy it? I don't own Naruto. If I did, Tobi would secretly be the ramen guy. Naruto belongs to Masashi Kishimoto. The only characters I own are, Yuukina, Sanko, Tsuki, Nasaki, Kuno, Okada, and a couple of other ninjas.

Shinki is Gaara's adopted son and was born into a regular family at the outskirt of Suna. However, at birth, he was blessed with the power to manipulate sands and soon created his own iron sand to control similar to that of the 3rd Kazekage. As a infant, Shinki is unable to control his blessed power and often wreck damage to his home with his sands flying around, destroying everything it touches. Soon, his parents was victims and got hurt by his sands. Unable to take care of him, Shinki was abandoned at the age of 3. Still unable to control his power, he often hurt innocent people everywhere he go and people feared him. The news soon alarm the Office Building and Gaara went into action. A/N: I haven't seen many stories about Shinki and thought I should write a story about his life based on my imagination (and maybe throw a little Gaara's childhood in there). Shinki is my 2nd most favorite character in the new generation behind his lovely cousin Shikadai so I thought, what better way to show my love to him than writing a story about his life? I am currently working on a new ShikaTema story (but writer's block right now...) and a sequel to my first story is 'To the past we go' (I hope it will come out soon... Also writer's block lol). Hope you enjoy this story about Shinki though!
