The year is 1969. Leonard Lowe, a catatonic patient at a local hospital in the Bronx borough of NYC, doesn't seem to have any prospects of a normal future. He's either laying in bed, or strapped to a wheelchair - additionally, he never leaves the confines of the bleak hospital in which he resides.
One day, however, when a new doctor starts working at the institution, Leonard's life changes forever. But how long will it last? And when a new nurse starts working at the hospital a couple of months after the first one, will more drama start brewing?
