Breaking news: All borders and airport has been closed as the president has declared an emergency lockdown starting from noon due to the spread of covid-19. The president has said that the lockdown would last till further notice No!', Alexis lamented as she changed every news channel. There can't possibly be a lockdown, not when am here', she cried out. Every news channel seemed to be carrying the same news, the broadcast was not in her favor. She threw the remote on the white leather chair. I can't stay here and not in this house, she whined. On Thursday Alexis had taken a midnight plane to Houston to pick up her certificate which she had left behind the night she left his house for good. She decided to go on Thursday and leave on Friday morning knowing that he would be back on Friday night for the weekend The metal tires on the electric gates came in contact with the ground which made a sharp sound, Alexis went to the window and peeped through the large curtains. The black car made its way through the long driveway and came to a halt at the car park, the engine of the car died. His footsteps closer, how would she face him? How would she survive under the same roof with her ex in the middle of a pandemic?
