Fan fiction from a court of thorn and roses series. Some characters are taken from the book series and are not my own, while others are. Take place after ACOWAR.
Dolunay is a soldier who fought in the war against Hybern. After the war when getting checked up by healers the inner circle happen to walk by. Trailed by the infamous shadowsinger. But the minute their eyes meet the mating bond snaps into place.
In panic Dolunay decides to sprint away in hope of getting space.
Will this bond be the start of love for them both or will it be a burden they both have to live with?
I want to point out that this taken place before some book in the series and thus disregards later information. That being said I am a huge Gwynriel stan so this is all in good fun.
Anyone who stans Elriel can say so in the comments. Would be fun to hear reasons even if I wholeheartedly against them.

I look up in anger at the man who was now towering over me, his nostrils flared as he took heavy breaths in and out, staring down at me in rage. I mirrored this as I looked up at him, my own anger causing my shadows to whip around sharply. We stare at each other in the eyes, neither of us backing down as the other two shout at him trying to call him off. His shadows come dancing around him to meet mine in turn. A moment passes and it feels as though the shadows part to reveal an invisible string tying us together. Just as the mating bond snaps into place.
