elsie lock moved to tulsa, oklahoma the summer before her junior year to get away from her abusive father back in ohio. 
she then meets the greasers; johnny cade, ponyboy curtis, darry curtis, sodapop curtis, steve randle, two-bit matthews, and dallas winston. they instantly welcomed her into the group and ponyboy took elsie in like a sister. 

then someone unexpectedly shows up on the curtis doorstep at 3 am, and elsie had to go on the run again. full of heartbreak, betrayal, and love, the gang must find a way to save her or they'll lose her forever.
