Mic wakes to a dull streak of sunlight streaming into her eyes and dimly illuminating her room. She turns over, blinking the sleep out of her eyes, and sees Taco still dead to the world beside her. It was only recently that she began waking up before Taco and what a relief it is. She knows Taco needs the sleep. Mic creeps her way out of bed and heads to the window. Nothing wakes her up better than a breath of crisp technically still-morning air. As she peels back the curtains, though, she's distracted by the untouched layer of pure white snow gleaming back at her.
