Due to certain events involving Jake English, Dirk attempted suicide for the sixth time, resulting in another trip to the hospital. Jane Crocker, a fellow friend, brought him to the hospital all those six times and took care of him making sure he was alright. Jane and Roxy knew that Jake had stopped caring about Dirk and they managed to keep that information to themselves. Dirk though, already knew about this.
On the night of his sixth suicide attempt, Jane brought Dirk over to her house where she would then make him his favorite cake. Infidelity and catastrophic events took place instead. An uncaring heart was broken and all is well in the Crocker Residence.
