Adrien Agreste was Paris's golden boy. He was loved by everyone in the city, gaining it most from his closest friends. There was never anything he would change about his life, with the exception of his relationship with his father. Although he seemed like he had it all, the only thing that kept him from driving himself insane was his opportunity to become the city's hero by night. Though, Chat Noir, however heroic he may have been, soon found himself in a very difficult situation that he could only escape from as Adrien. Gabriel Agreste was dead, and his blood was on his son's hands.

Eloise Bennett was far from being Paris's anything. She was, however, fresh out the state of Georgia and the city's new southern project. She had it all back home, and the only thing that tore her away from it was the inconvenient job offer to her dad. Not only did she begin to find comfort in exploring her new home, but she soon found herself entwined with its most-wanted murderer. The hardest part she would have had to deal with was sorting out the skeletons in Chat Noir's closet and learning to see him the way all of Paris saw Adrien Agreste.
