Gerard is a gay high school junior who's been bullied at school and hasn't come out to his family yet. As a result he attempts suicide, but he is saved by his brother Mikey. When Gerard goes back to school he meets a new kid, Frank, who's kinda cute. Gerard tries to get Frank's attention but finds out that Frank left a girlfriend at his old high school. Eventually though, Frank also starts to develop feelings for Gerard and asks him out on a date. From there, they get closer and Frank helps Gerard realize things about himself he never had and helps him recover.
