(Hey guys, this story here is basically a redo of my previous story that I have not finished, "Wolfstar's Path" and as time has passed I've been wanting to get back into this story and try to finish it, though after a while I felt it would be better to start all over which is why I'm doing this, posting the new version of the story while having the previous one on the side just to see how much I've grown, other than that, I do hope you all enjoy! ^w^)

As old ashes from the original clans subside rises four new clans: Pineclan, Wolfclan, Rockclan, and Meadowclan. However, these four clans hold something special that every clan cat can be able to maintain, abilities. Abilities that can grant you powers beyond that you can imagine given by Starclan themselves as gratitude from their previous founding leaders many moons ago.

Though within Wolfclan, an apprentice by the name of Wolfpaw, doesn't have any ability to harness herself. Even as a young apprentice, she faces a lot of horrible treatment from her clanmates relating to her incapability to gain an ability, as well as her "corrupted blood" from her family side.

Though one night during a gathering, a prophecy is foretold creating Wolfpaw to have a powerful ability mysteriously that same night. Along with that, rumors of a cult-like group of cats are said to be growing within the forest itself, killing any cat with or without an ability with ease.

It is up to Wolfpaw to find a way to stop the evil that is slowly spreading throughout the clans. Will she be able to face this new conflict before it consumes everything she holds dearly, or will she choose a path that will taint everything she knows to be moral?

The four Clans-GrassClan, OakClan, PineClan and WillowClan-have lived in relative balance since the Clans began. They kept separate, save for their Gathering every full moon. While they had their disagreements, they kept a relatively harmonious existence. They had always been four Clans and it was believed that they always would be. For as long as they kept the warrior code alive, the Clans would continue to thrive. That's when the troubles began. One long, hot, dry greenleaf, a fire swept through GrassClan. Some cats were lost but those that survived resumed life in their now scorched territory. They knew that life was going to be harder than ever, but they could not abandon the only home they had ever known. The next couple of seasons, GrassClan struggled to feed themselves with little prey to be found. Yet, they refused to give up. Newleaf found GrassClan weak and starving but with hope on their horizon. Their oldest queen had moved into the nursery. Then, disaster struck a second time. Greencough swept through the Clan, snuffing out the new lives before they had even begun. The dreaded sickness left its mark, stealing the future of the Clan and all hope with it. Life had taken its toll on GrassClan. All that remained were their young leader, their deputy, their elderly medicine cat, one warrior and three elders. They had no apprentices, no she-cats and no kits. The once vibrant Clan was on the brink of dying out. The four Clans would soon be no more. Then, at the next Gathering, StarClan brought a message to the Clans: GrassClan must survive. There had always been four Clans and that could not change. They proposed that volunteers from the other three Clans should join GrassClan to help restore it. Cats were given one moon to consider the offer. Even with this last-ditch effort by StarClan, most cats don't believe it will be enough to save GrassClan. Will GrassClan truly rise from the ashes?

Or will she suffer the same fate as him and die just like him? Read to find out who she truly is... "Bloodshed is upon all cats. May some cat save us all before it's too late..." Every disaster that threatens a Clan means StarClan will come and save you. You'll receive a prophecy that will save everything you love. The peril is vanquished in a battle, and there is no need for sleeping with one eye open anymore. StarClan will forever watch over you from your nest and keep you safe. That is what has been passed down from generations. Not every tale has to end like that: StarClan saving everyone with the chosen cat, everyone loving the hero or heroine - but it always does. So facing a challenge such as missing cats shouldn't be a challenging task. Moons pass on, cats keep disappearing faster and faster; nobody is doing anything to prevent the case. Everyone is relying on StarClan to send the prophecy to their medicine cat, just hoping that one day, the fiasco will end. Yet that's not the way fear works its way into hearts. Warriors, once brave and strong, now cowering behind one another. Apprentices with their eagerness to learn, now afraid of the outside world and going missing. Queens, always caring for their kits, now fearful of losing them to the mystery. Elders, who are as wise as the deepest river, now unable to provide an answers. With leaf-bare creeping up, the Clans are preparing for the harsh weather. Preparing for another season should be like gathering moss for the elders, but not this time. This time, the Clans are struggling just to assemble a hunting patrol and maintain borders. Forcing time out of daily tasks is asking the impossible. Leaf-bare is going to take the remaining lives of the cats that are lucky enough to even make it through leaf-fall. A silent storm will sweep across them and leave no traces; they might as well prepare to die in the white flakes of leaf-bare, covered up by mounds of snow, lost and forgotten. {This is a rewrite of my story and just like before, copying isn't allowed} {This is also a work of fanfiction! I do not own Warrior Cats!}

DESCRIPTION: Spiralpaw is the daughter of the ThunderClan leader, Stonestar. Everything seems normal in the Lake until she and her siblings realize that everyone has been keeping a secret from them. Now, the cat who killed the previous Medicine Cat and Deputy seems to be targeting the rest of ThunderClan. Will Spiralpaw and her Clan survive this long, drawn-out leaf-bare? This is a fanfiction based upon the Erin Hunter series, "Warriors". This book was something I tinkered with quite a few years ago, when I started reading the Warrior Cats series. Eventually, I gained the confidence to turn it into some sort of story of my own, introducing my cats (in real life) as well as game characters I've made online. I hope whoever reads this story enjoys it! (Apologies if mistakes are made within the book.) Note: This first series takes place in a different version of the Lake territory. I own this book cover and this story. !!WARNING!! If you're not a fan of horror, and dislike detailed descriptions of death or gore, skip Chapter 28. (This is also why I put the Mature setting on.) I'm sorry the story is so trashy- I did what I could with what I had to work with at the time. Trust me, the original version was WAY worse- Anyways, read on.
