Kayla, 16. Bubbly. Charismatic. Awkward. Concealed.
Daniel, 17. Talented. Genuine. Timid. Pessimistic.
Kayla doesn't like to think of herself as normal. She doesn't believe in it. What even is normal? How do you tell if you, yourself, are 'normal'? You can't. That's the point. Although what she does think of herself as, isn't all that great. 'Stupid' 'Nerd' 'Ugly' 'Fat'. That's what she thinks. That's what everyone else thinks.
Except Daniel.
Daniel isn't like everyone else.
Daniel sees through people. Looks into them, their personality, their interests, themselves. He doesn't 'Judge a book by it's cover', as you might say.
Not to other people anyway.
To himself, it's all he ever does. 'Lanky' 'Geek' 'Awkward' 'Hideous'.
They can't see anything in themselves, and they probably never will.
But can they change that about each other?
