"The Olympians have been called many things, but forgiving is not one of them." * - * - * [adventure, dark comedy, romance - book 1] Loyalty. What did it mean? As the Second Titan War raged across the United States, Half-Bloods began to pick sides. To some Half-Bloods, loyalty meant fighting for their godly parent. For some Half-Bloods it meant standing beside their friends. Sometimes those two definitions of loyalty clashed. They pulled to either side of the war. And sometimes, Half-Bloods picked the wrong side. When the war comes to a close, the traitor Luke Castellan repents of his actions long enough to kill Kronos and is given a funeral with honor. His final act granted him redemption. But what about the living? Who redeems them in the eyes of the gods? This is the story of three Half-Bloods who become the sacrificial lambs on the altar of repentance to the Olympians. Happening sometime after Camp Jupiter and Half-Blood Hill unite. Percy and Annabeth are finally looking forward to peace and quiet. They've had a hard couple of years. Hard is an understatement. They look forward to kicking back, going to college, collecting a few demigods, and hanging out with their friends. But when Rachel Dare has a fainting fit and reveals a prophecy that shatters the allusion that they'll have even a sort of normal life. Percy is yet again thrown into a quest that is going to take all of his powerful friends to accomplish. But the person he needs most will have to be left behind. Violet didn't ask for this. She never does. It was an accident. But she knows it's not. With the threat of getting kicked out of yet another school Violet has to keep her wits with her as she tries to brave the horrors of high school her senior year. But when another "accident" results in her trashing the auditorium and meeting a dark haired green eyed boy Violet learns that her normal life has never been normal at all. Thrust into a world she doesn't understand with powers she can't control Violet learns some truth about herself and about her parents. Their quest takes them somewhere few have been and come back from and brings together the most powerful group of demigods the two camps have ever seen. Everyone knows their quest will be full of danger. Monsters will be everywhere they turn. If they forge ahead they may not even make it back alive. But if they don't no one will be alive. Will all their worst nightmares come true as they descend into the dark? Or will something more sinister and twisted make them wish they'd never been born? Celestial London Chronicles #1 Long ago, the sun Xyliath, one of the ancient gods, fell in the first Blood War for peace. Her burning tears formed a flaming sword, which she gave to her son Aurelius. The sword had the power to destroy worlds and create new ones, but above all it possessed a power that no other god had. The ability to kill a god. No man, no hand and no weapon could cut through the skin of a celestial being and take out its heart. The Sword of Xyliath was the only exception. For centuries, the sword was protected by the sun god Aurelius, until it was stolen. The sun god, who has long rivalled the moon god, blames the latter for this and sends his grandson Silthos, the god of love and desire, to capture him. The young god receives support from the most feared deity of all - Aristaeus, the god of blood and war. This unusual partnership is intended to save the world from a possible new assassin of the gods. But the collaboration proves to be more difficult than expected. Silthos' usual charm doesn't seem to attract the god of blood and war, and Aristaeus' penchant for blood and torture even gives Silthos the creeps. Two men - a psycho and an unkissed man who embodies lust and desire. Can they save the world from the power of the sword? Who can they trust and, most importantly, can they trust each other?
