After losing her mother and her sister in the span of one year, Piper is shattered. What doesn't help are the hallucinations and the nightmares. The images of her lost ones replaying in front of her eyes as if they were actually there. And as if it wasn't hell enough, Piper's ex shows up claiming that her hallucinations aren't just in her head, they are real. Her mother and sister are there in front of her. Dead, but real; come to ask Piper for help and that she and her brother can help Piper in helping them. She needs answers and what other choice does she have? And that's how she's thrown into a world completely different than hers, a world of spirits, witches and magic and she's starting to realise that she might not be so different than them.
