He laughed at my comment and placed his hands on either side of me, locking me in.
The laugh died out and I tried to look anywhere but into his blue eyes. I could feel his gaze on me.
Unexpectedly, James moved his right hand to cup my cheek and forced me to stare into his tired eyes. His eyes were moving up and down - from my eyes to my lips - and it was as if he was fighting an internal battle.
Instead of letting my arms hang by my sides I placed them on his lower waist, just over his belt. He looked down at my movement and then up again.
He had decided now.
