Imagine your family was a gang of werewolf outlaws in a world that doesn't accept werewolves. Welcome to Ransom's life. A 17 year old full blooded Alpha Male and his family are part of a tribe dubbed Dark Adder Pack who ruled the night in their territories of California, Oregon, Washington, and Idaho. Everyone was terrified of them from the 1700s to 1941, when WWII spread into the United States. Weapons were updated and the pack of nearly 10,000 strong was decreasing quickly. Most of them left the tribe or were captured and sadly they weren't the only tribe that was hunted. Mostly all tribes in North America had been hunted to this day. It's now the 21st Century and the tribe is only 1,000 strong and two territories remain; Oregon and California. Ego, Ransom was next in line for Alpha. Knowing this, Ransom ran away from his family in California to Oregon. He wasn't interested in leading a gang or being an outlaw, even if he did get all the babes in Hollywood. Although, in the first semester at his new high school there was a rumor about a monster in the forest. Concerned it was someone in his family looking for him, he leaves the school grounds at lunch to find the "monster," but what he finds instead would change his life forever.
