Flora Whitney was taken in by Sirius Black and Remus Lupin when her mother died at the hands of a death eater. She was three when one of her godfathers was sent off to Azkaban, the responsibility of raising her falling to Remus.

Now a fifth-year at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, the witty Ravenclaw is the Seeker of her Quidditch Team, acing her classes with perfect marks, and basking in the comfort of Remus becoming the newest Defense Against the Dark Arts professor at Hogwarts.

But when the news of Sirius Black escaping Azkaban tears through the Wizarding World, Flora, the forever giggly and bubbly ray of sunshine, finds herself thrown into a whirlwind of grief, fear, and the sinking feeling that something terrible is going to happen.
