I would like to preface this as no one is a bad guy here. They all have unresolved trauma and they don't know how to deal with it and it ends up resulting in toxic relationships.

Bakugo has grown fed up with being the emotional support for Kirishima every time he runs back to Izuku. Bakugo has loved Kirishima for a long time but never told him, so when Kirishima started dating Izuku, he decided he never needed to. Then Kirishima found out that Izuku kept going and sleeping with his emotionally unavailable and commitment phobic ex, Todoroki. He was shattered and kept turning to his best friend. Bakugo comforts him, but when Kirishima keeps repeating the pattern, Bakugo has had enough and decides he's tired of playing Mr. Nice Guy.
