Albedo and Sucrose have worked together for years, him as the Chief Alchemist of the Knights of Favonius, and her as his assistant. Sure, Sucrose blushes whenever Albedo bumps into her, and Albedo has pages of sketches of Sucrose. But that's perfectly normal. They're just good friends, and they are, after all, the same age.

Except, Albedo needs Sucrose to accompany him on a journey to Liyue, to help the Feiyun Commerce Guild establish a branch of alchemy there. With things like stray hilichurls, single beds at the inn, and beautiful new scenery, Albedo and Sucrose might just have a change of heart.

Her goal in alchemy is to make a wonderland for her friends, she had two best friends when she was a child, they would always share everything and anything. But the other ones parents are adventurers, they went on a adventure and never came back to Sucrose. Her other friend, their father died. This made Sucrose's other friend change personalities, and eventually cut ties with Sucrose. These three friends dreamt of a wonderland. Sucrose was sad when she lost both of her only best friends, that's why she's shy. She thinks everyone around her thinks bad of her. When sucrose discovered alchemy, she had that goal to create the wonderland of not only her; but the wonderland for three of her friends. This is where I get the inspiration for this story, some context for peeps that don't know :))

Even though she's royalty indeed, she had trouble making friends in her childhood because not many people can relate to alchemy. But then she stumbled upon a boy, who's named Albedo. The two became friends, and possibly, almost more than that. However, one person decided to ruin it all. Suspicions were laid, rumors spread, and gossip was active which lead to a huge misunderstanding to a quarrel between the two best friends. But after that frustrating and misleading event, Albedo was forced to visit somewhere far from here and it was ordered by his father. He didn't want to leave Sucrose but he had no choice... not even getting the chance to say a proper goodbye. He left Mondstadt and Sucrose behind for nearly 2 years. Sucrose didn't see him under the tree anymore, nor in the kingdom; thinking he was taking his time off but it seems like he was - literally. She waited under the tree, the specific spot where she would usually see him but he was never found. Will Albedo come back and meet her once more before Sucrose loses all hope? Or will he just leave her like that, all alone?
