Accident.
It was all because of an accident. Her life ended just like that. How tragic, right? But still, Lily accepted her fate though a little reluctant....

"Cease following me, Captain."

"That . . . . I cannot do, My Lady."

"Don't you have a squad to train?"

"Yes, I do, My Lady. But I've already got someone to train them in my stead, nothing you need to concern about."

"Stay here, I need to go 'there'."

. . .

"What are you doing, Captain?"

"Escorting you 'there', My Lady. . . And guard you while you're at it. Please, My Lady, I shall lead you there!"

Lily was left stupefied by the shameless and despicable act of 'escorting' her to the ladies room as what the guy in front, 'worded' his action. Captain Vurn Samael Laxus, the 'once' hero who saved her and now, her 'guard' for who knows when....
and she's a volcano about to erupt.
